Did you hear the news about the large boulders that recently came crashing down from a Kalihi hillside?
The large rocks severely damaged several homes but fortunately did not injure or kill anyone. 
I was touched by this incident in a special way...
My son Daniel lived in the house that endured the biggest damage. He was lounging in the living room when he heard a loud crashing sound and fearfully observed a four foot wide boulder crash through their kitchen. The house was extensively damaged and narrowly missed my son by several feet.

- Be thankful for every day you’re alive.
- Never take anything for granted. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.
- Know that greater forces exist in the universe and are watching over you. When my sister told Daniel that he must have an angel watching over him, he said that the angel was his late mom, who protected him from harm.
