Remember Us?

We’re the regular customers who came into your store and stood quietly while the cashiers finished their chit-chat about their weekend parties.

We’re the patient gentlemen who came into your store and waited until we were acknowledged by someone who greeted us hurriedly with “next person in line.”

We’re the nice ladies who repeatedly shopped at your store but never felt like anyone knew us on a personal level.  We were just another transaction in the monotonous grind of another work day.

We’re the senior citizens who, after ten minutes looking for an item, asked for the location of an item, only to be rudely and uncaringly told, “Aisle 15.”

We’re the customers who supported your business, paid your employees, and kept your business thriving and, despite how poorly we were treated, we never complained.

Do you know who else we are?  We’re the customers who will never come back and the customers who tell everyone we know how poorly we were treated.

It’s ironic how much money businesses spend annually in advertising and promotions to get us through their doors when, in fact, we were already there. All they had to do was provide us friendly, helpful service and sincerely appreciate our presence. How much does that cost?

Unfortunately, we won’t be back. We’ll be depositing our hard earned dollars in the pockets of your competitors who fulfill our needs, treat us well and are grateful for our loyalty. Others will patronize your business, so make sure you take care of them and, unlike us, maybe they will come back!
